BC Golf Vacations – 5 Courses to Play for Interests Sake

British Columbia has more than 300 golf courses – so how do you narrow down the list and choose where to play? Keep reading, learn about BC's record-breaking or just some interesting golf courses – maybe not the best list for planning a BC golf vacation, but there are still some good options.

Highest elevation: Sun Peak Resort's Golf Course

Sun Peak Resort's golf course is 1,200 meters above sea level and is a great place for a holiday in British Columbia. Above the spectacular panoramic mountain views, you'll enjoy how the thin air makes your ball go further, and how the elevation provides a cool retreat from the hot Okanagan in the BC summer.

The most prestigious (expensive) golf course: Capilano Golf & Country Club

This West Vancouver member club is located in one of Canada's richest postal codes and is one of Stanley Thompson's architectural masterpieces. Play 18 holes, rugged mountain landscapes and sparkling waters, then a super exclusive club lunch where you can find a great day, daaaahling .

The most delicious golf course: Harvest Golf Club

One apple per day keeps the doctor away, but what does it do for your golf game? The motto of the East Kelowna Harvest Golf Club is "Do whatever you want". The course has rich fruit trees with apples, peaches, pears, cherries and apricots to encourage golfers to enjoy the game. Sounds like this is not a lovely way to spend BC summer?

Best Golf Hole: Greywolf Golf Club

Par 3 Hole 6, better known as "Cliffhanger" at the Greywolf Golf Club in Panorama, challenge golfers carefully through the mountain canyon to reach 172 yards Green land. The 3rd hole in the Golf Golf Choice Awards, the best golf hole in the Vancouver Sun and one of the top 10 best holes in the Canadian Globe and Mail, this is definitely a golf experience.

The most challenging green: Predator Ridge

BC Golf Holidays should not have no challenges. With this in mind, check out Predator Ridge, a beautiful 27-hole golf course, just outside Vernon, famous for its awkward greens (or worry). Chris Baldwin, a contributor to the Canadian golf team, shared:

"Every green you won't push in Predator Ridge is the reason for Tiger Woods' fist pump – Oops, maybe even a jump in the LPGA championship Into the lake."

The most scenic golf course: Furry Creek

The most beautiful golf course with the most interesting name (well, in my opinion), Furry Creek can be in Vancouver and Found between Whistler, just next to the Haitian Highway. From the fjord-like landscape, the steep mountains rise from the water's edge and the offshore islands, and the vegetation is dense, no wonder it continues to earn praise because of the most beautiful and scenic golf course in BC.
